A Brazilian wax removes all or most of the hair from the front, back, and everything in between. How much stays is entirely your call — some guests leave a small triangle or a strip, others go completely bare, and either is a normal thing to ask for.
What makes this different is not the wax. It is that you are told what is happening before it happens, you are asked before anything changes, and you can stop at any point without explaining yourself. For a lot of people that is the difference between dreading a wax and actually booking one.

What To Expect
- We talk first — what you want, what you would rather avoid, and anything medical that matters, including retinoids and blood thinners.
- You undress from the waist down and are draped throughout. Only the area being worked on is uncovered at any moment.
- Hard wax is applied in small sections, with a check-in between each one.
- The whole appointment is 30 minutes. The waxing itself is a good deal shorter than that.
Aftercare
- No heat for 24 to 48 hours — that means no hot tubs, saunas, or hot yoga.
- Skip the gym and anything that makes you sweat heavily for a day or two.
- No exfoliation for 48 hours, then exfoliate gently a few times a week to keep ingrowns down.
- Loose clothing for the first day. Friction is what causes most post-wax irritation.

How long does my hair need to be for a Brazilian wax?
About a quarter of an inch — roughly the length of a grain of rice. Shorter than that and the wax cannot grip; much longer and it is more uncomfortable than it needs to be.
Can I get a Brazilian wax on my period?
Yes. Wear a clean tampon or a menstrual cup, and know that sensitivity is usually a little higher in the days just before and during your period.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
Sensitivity varies a lot from person to person. Hard wax, small sections, and a pace you control make a real difference, and it typically gets easier with regular visits as the hair grows back finer.
How often should I get waxed?
Every four to six weeks keeps the growth on a single cycle, which is what makes each appointment quicker and more comfortable. There is a membership at $65 every four weeks if you want to stay on that rhythm.
